• How long will Attic Conversions take?

  On average it takes between one to two weeks to convert your attic. However, this really depends on how much work needs to be done. Through a dedicated  project manager and project plan, we can minimize the interruption to your routine and get the job completed as quickly and easily as possible.

• Do I need architect’s drawings to get the job done?

  Most professional contractors are happy to work from your drawings, if you have them. In reality however, the vast majority of conversions are carried out without them

• Do I need planning permission?

  Most attic conversions are exempt from planning permission because the ceilings are not high enough to qualify as “Habitable Accommodation”. However, if you wish to erect a dormer window, or to put your Velux windows to the front, then you will need planning permission.

• Will an attic conversion add value to the house?

  Yes, of course it will. At the very least it will increase the house value by at least the cost of the job. Unless you get a cheapskate builder to do it for you.

• What is your availability and area coverage?

  We work all over Dublin and nearby areas. We like to keep busy, but we are usually available for projects with a few weeks’ notice. It is always worth contacting us to check.

• Do you supply all materials?

  Yes. We provide A-Grade materials based on your need or you can purchase and supply your own laminates and tiles of your taste

• Do you dispose my existing construction materials?

  Yes. We include disposal of all construction materials in any quote and project plan. We are environmentally conscious and act responsibly when it comes to all waste disposal, re-use or recycling.
